Subject: Support HB2199, HB2166 and SB2472 (Concerned local)

 

Aloha, 

I am a Hawaiʻi local writing to share my consent to pass, and support of HB2199, HB2166 and SB2474. These bills protect the safety and wellbeing of children and the rights of parents and caregivers to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of their children, families and therefore communities. 

 

These bills preserve constitutionality related to parental rights, bodily autonomy, and due process, as well as informed consent. Advancing legislation that upholds these rights is consistent with the oath legislators take to uphold the Constitution. 

 

I stand in upright, firm support of  these bills and give my consent for you to pass them.
